Least Cost Freight

PMA Solutions use a variety of freight providers and have designed our warehouse systems to automatically select the most appropriate carrier for each consignment. All accredited freight providers are selected through a rigorous process which includes rates, service delivery times and standards, IT compatibility and references.

The use of a custom-built “Least Cost Freight Routing” system manages the variety of distribution methods based on client requirements and service levels, and takes the manual ‘guesswork’ out of the process, ensuring each individual requirement is price tested, and our clients are charged the most cost effective rates for all orders.

Order Tracking

Orders placed by PMA Solutions clients may be tracked through all stages of order processing. Authorised staff are able to quickly check on the following status online:

• Order received and waiting to be picked
• Order picking slip released / being picked
• Order picked and dispatched
• Order held (backorder)

Once dispatched from PMA Solutions the order can be tracked via our designated freight providers tracking system by simply clicking on the consignment note number on the PMA Solutions website which is 'hotlinked' through to the relevant carrier.
