Freight and Distribution

PMA Solutions uses a "Least Cost Routing" system with a variety of distribution methods based on client requirements and service levels. Typically distribution is based, and charged, on three main parameters - destination, weight and urgency/mode of transport.

Similar to our print suppliers, our freight providers are selected through a rigorous process which includes rates, service delivery times and standards, IT compatibility and references. We use a variety of freight providers and have designed our warehouse systems to automatically select the most appropriate carrier for each consignment using our "Least Cost Routing" system. This takes the manual 'guesswork' out of the process and ensures that our clients are charged the most cost effective rates for all orders.
