Print Production / Procurement
PMA Solutions understands that Client produces a wide variety of printed material from traditional forms and stationery through to high quality marketing brochures and promotional items.
PMA Solutions can more than deliver Client's service requirements across all print areas.
PMA Solutions operates independently from print manufacturers - we do not own or have any capital investment in printing equipment. Unlike many of our competitors, our commercial drivers are not based on ensuring 'the presses are full'. Rather we have unlimited flexibility in engaging the best suppliers at the best price to ensure that our clients receive the greatest value.
Depending on the type of work (and the urgency) we have the ability to source suppliers locally, interstate and even offshore. This allows our clients access to the best prices in the most appropriate market.
In addition not being aligned or driven by manufacturing requirements ensures that our account management and other teams are experienced in a wide and diverse range of products. We regularly manage the production and supply of items such as stationery, business forms, business cards, high quality marketing collateral, retail catalogues and many types of point of sale stands and merchandise.
PMA Solutions takes a relatively 'formal' approach to both the sourcing and management of printed products. A rigorous supplier selection and management programme is run by a dedicated senior manager - Phil Shanahan, National Strategic Sourcing Manager. Phil has over 16 years experience in supplier management and procurement in a variety of service and manufacturing industries.
The key to this programme is a rigorous selection process including a formal RFP from all likely suppliers. It includes request for information on capabilities, experience, service, pricing and financial health. Confidentiality and Service Level Agreements are mandatory requirements in order to be considered for PMA Solutions supplier roster. Visits to the facilities are also undertaken to verify that the information provided is acceptable and correct.
Phil also manages the ongoing relationship with the suppliers including performance measurement and costs. This is done both through formal scheduled reviews as well as a continual monitoring of performance on a job and project basis.
