PMA Graphic Design Overview

PMA Solutions can offer Client full design services, integrated within the production workflow. Similarly, PMA Solutions' studio and account management personnel are very experienced in working with client nominated advertising/design agencies. Our studio can become involved at whatever stage of the pre-press process each client nominates, or, if Client wishes, we can simply take completed art/film from third parties.
Our in-house graphics team consists of 4 full-time designers who are highly experienced in all aspects of print and print related work. We believe there are significant benefits in using PMA Solutions design services. These include but are certainly not limited to:
- Investment in technology - PMA Solutions graphic art studio is fully equipped with both PC and Macintosh platforms and is able to create or manipulate virtually any type of graphic art file.
- Investment in people - The graphic art studio team consists of a senior manager with over thirty years experience in all aspects of graphic art and pre-press services. She is supported by three full-time graphic artists with over 15 years of experience between them.
- PMA Solutions can offer all design services from initial concept design through to final artwork. We are highly experienced in the creation of printed collateral from design elements supplied from a third party and in the localisation / versioning of existing designs / content. We do this daily for a diverse range of clients such as Kimberly-Clark, Southcorp Wines and James Hardie to name a few.
- Consistency of brand and reproduction will be enhanced with an integrated approach to design and print. The PMA Solutions design and account management teams will be entrusted to be Client's 'brand guardians' ensuring that all communications are consistent with your brand guidelines. Copies of corporate style guides are held in our art studio and are referred to regularly by our account teams when managing a production requiring logos or corporate styles.
- Our design team will also assist in identifying and rectifying any issues before production commences. Similarly our designers will work closely with the account team and client in identifying and exploiting opportunities for efficiencies early in the production process.
- PMA Solutions designers and account managers are very experienced in working collaboratively with third party agencies to produce economic and effective marketing solutions for our clients. This usually takes place at three way meetings where the clients' best interests and aims, including economics, are taken into consideration by all parties.
We are flexible in how clients work in terms of artwork approval and proofing and can supply digital, electronic or chemical proofs if required. Our preference is, however, to utilise our own online artwork approval module that allows clients and all relevant third parties to view, comment and approve artwork through a standard web browser.
We also offer a full PDF workflow across all design requirements. There are many benefits to this - primarily a dramatic improvement in efficiency for Client staff and associated agencies in the generation, approval, storage and retrieval of printed material.
