SUMMARY


The basic proposition supporting this venture is that an agent will provide PMA Solutions with an easily scalable channel to market in many areas of Australia not currently serviced by PMA Solutions. The majority of these areas represent a potentially significant market for PMA’s broad service offering.

Critical to the agent’s business model is the "Two T’s" … Technology and Training. Technology is the key enabler and competitive advantage for Agents, and a core factor in attracting prospective agents into our network. Access to PMA’s leading edge systems will provide agents with a purpose-built tool to run their agency, with minimal technology outlay required.

AGENCY BUSINESS MODEL

The basic elements of the Agents business model are as follows:

  • Agents will be engaged by PMA on a contract for services basis; they will not be PMA employees and must not be construed as having a quasi-employee relationship with PMA. Agents must be set up in their own business structure with an ABN.
  • A successful applicant will act as an agent for PMA products and services within a defined, non-exclusive geographical territory. PMA will control the products and services offered by an agent, and the systems used by agents to carry out their PMA agency.
  • Agents will be responsible to source their own leads, target new clients, quote/win jobs and manage production across the full range of PMA’s products and services. PMA Print, Promotional Fulfilment and Safety are expected to be the core business segments for agents.
  • Functionally, the agents will broadly resemble internal Senior Account Managers, with full responsibility and incentives to service and grow a portfolio of clients within their own sales territory.
  • PMA will provide agents with controlled access (via secure unique login/password) to its relevant systems to facilitate proper client quoting, sales and cost of sales recording.
  • PMA will pay performance-based commission to the agents business, monthly in arrears, once monies are collected by PMA.
