What's happened to Print Management?
Print Management or PMA is still the core of the new PMA Solutions business, and will remain so for sometime yet. The name change simply reflects the broadening of our capabilities beyond just providing a print management program. The company itself still has the identical ownership structure and senior management team.
What does the change mean to me?
In terms of the print management service you are receiving it will be basically business as usual. You will simply see a different brand on the company and all of our communication. However, the key change will be the opening up of our offerings to you beyond our core service into areas such as fulfilment services and promotional products.
What are the benefits of that?
- Consolidated supplier base - fewer people to deal with and transact with.
- Consolidated services - a continuity in service standards and practices across different areas of need (consolidated reporting, warehousing under one roof, one on-line ordering system, common deliveries).
- Cost savings - hard cost savings from access to PMA Solutions buying power and supplier knowledge in all areas, plus soft cost savings through the streamlining of processes.
- Partnership - engaging PMA Solutions as a single partner for these different areas gives us a broader understanding of your company and, therefore, an ability to make more informed recommendations about business improvement strategies.
What if I'm not interested in fulfilment and promotional offerings, can I still retain PMA Solutions just to do my print management?
Absolutely yes. Our services, as always, are available to all clients but are tailored for each.
Who will look after my account?
We have senior account managers that specialise in each of the key product areas - print and promotional - because they are different. Production methods are different, suppliers are different, and lead times are different, just to name a few things. PMA Solutions feels it's important that you work with an expert in each of our service and product areas. That way we can ensure that you get the best possible solution.
What are fulfilment services?
This includes virtually any process you need to put your print and/or promotional items through to get them to the end-user. For example, you may wish to create a set of showbags for a product launch, you may need to send Christmas gifts to clients with a personalised letter, or you may simply want to streamline the printing and distribution of your monthly customer statements. PMA Fulfilment can provide:

Is this a new service?
Yes and no. We have been providing fulfilment services to a range of clients for the past few years. However, with our re-brand we have invested more resources in this area and are now actively promoting this capability to our clients. We see it as a very natural extension of our product offerings.
